Miss Mi and Plating Up WA pork lechon

Western Australia is home to ingredients in a world of their own. To celebrate our incredible local produce, Miss Mi is proud to be taking part in Plating Up WA from 1 – 30 June 2024.

As part of Plating Up WA, Miss Mi is partnering with Linley Valley Pork to bring Perth diners a sumptuous Filipino pork lechon.

Slow cooked and succulent with skin that is ridiculously crunchy, lechon is a roast Pork Belly dish that hails from the Philippines, normally served as a whole slow-roasted suckling pig, roasted on a spit over an open fire at special celebrations. At Miss Mi we have taken premium Linley Valley pork belly and rolled it with South East Asian spices and aromatics. Think the Filipino version of Italian porchetta!

Our twist on this delicious pork belly dish comes stuffed with Coconut Spiced Braised Kale and accompanied by a Spiced Vinegar dipping sauce and Asian Herb Salad and will be available by the slice on our à la carte menu for $38 (300g) during the month of June.

Dining with friends? Wow your guests by pre-ordering a whole pork lechon for your table for $180* (feeds 5-6 guests). But you’ll need to be quick, limited whole lechon will be available each evening and pre-ordering at least 48 hours in advance is essential.
