NEW WINTER DISHES AT MISS MI

Pan-fried duck breast is paired with a deep, savoury Madurese black sauce and a vibrant Balinese urap salad. Madurese sauce is a savoury and spicy Javanese condiment, created by slowly toasting coconut, spices and aromatics until black but not burnt, concentrating the rich flavours into a unique sauce. Finished with pickled red onion to add a fresh, tangy contrast that balances the richness of the dish.

Tender beef sirloin is paired with a hearty Soto Betawi-style broth, spiced with cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric and aromatic spices, then paired with the traditional serving of tomato and potato. A finishing touch of emping crackers and house made red sambal adds crunch and a vibrant lift.

Chargrilled tiger prawns are served with a rich tomato shellfish reduction, slowly simmered to extract maximum flavour and oyster sauce added for a richer seafood flavour. This is lifted by fresh cucumber, shallots, chilli and a squeeze of lemon.

 

Crispy potatoes are served with a silky soy garlic cream and topped with palm sugar pork crumb for a sweet-savoury crunch.
