This award is more than just a title. Having a place in the ‘Top 100’ means Miss Mi Perth is now listed amongst the very best of the best, delivering on our purpose to deliver a dining experience for Perth foodies that is packed full of exotic aromatics and adventurous storytelling through food.
WAGFG is all about good food and drink and we are so proud to feature on this truly prestigious list.
A bit about WA Good Food Guide’s Top 100
While being the country’s only state based restaurant guide, WAGFG exists to share incomparable food and drink venues for all of Western Australians to read, be informed and seek to enjoy for themselves. WAGFG sets a yearly task to find the state’s Top 100 food and drink venues throughout the year and celebrates those venues at the peak of every year. They have a great history of independence and the Top 100 list is overseen by an expert team of judges comprising some of the country’s best and most experienced food and drink writers/critics.
The Scoring Process
WAGFG writes “We take scoring seriously, judging venues by criteria that reward excellence and interest, and put food and drink at the centre.”
The judging criteria includes food, drinks, service and atmosphere. WAGFG also takes into consideration anything else that makes a venue stand out; like a connection to a community, sustainability or an incredible view. WAGFG aims to judge each venue in it’s own given context, making it possible for the restaurant with 3 chef’s hats and the best deli sandwich shop down the road to both be considered the best in their terms – good food, above all, is the theme.
Keep an eye out for the full WAGFG’s Top 100 list – coming end of 2023.
