WA Good Food Guide Review Miss Mi Perth

Miss Mi (蜜), meaning ‘honey’, personifies our refined approach to modern Asian dining.

Ever evolving, never boring, our menu fuses inspiration from different regions throughout Asia, encouraging you to explore new tastes and aromas as you would on a sojourn to the tea houses of Hong Kong or the mountains of Myanmar.

Smoke, aromatics and spice rekindle faded memories of faraway places and centuries-old tradition, but the presentation is in the here and now.

Designed by The Scanlan Architects and Singapore-based Kreat Studio, Miss Mi is dripping in a dark natural wood interiors with bespoke furnishings complemented by decorative Asian motifs. Floor-to-ceiling cabinetry displaying an array of ornaments divide the room while an electric neon paint mural created by renowned local artist Drew Straker illuminates the path as guests make their way down the entrance alley from Murray Street.

Inspired by a traditional Chinese streetscape with Chinese kites and red lanterns, the mural features local native animals in a nod to Miss Mi’s Asian roots and Western Australian home.

Be transported to Asia with lush tropical gardens and tranquil lilly pond as your backdrop before reveling in the energy of Miss Mi’s open-kitchen.
