The combined expertise of our team results in menus that take inspiration from the diverse cuisines of Southeast Asia while showcasing exceptional local Western Australian produce and contemporary cooking techniques.

From vibrant seasonal menus and chef collaborations to interactive dining experiences and signature cocktails, every dish served at Miss Mi reflects the creativity and passion of our kitchen team. Just as importantly, our front-of-house team works tirelessly to ensure every guest feels welcomed from the moment they arrive.

Recognising our team

This finalist recognition belongs to every member of the Miss Mi family. It is a reflection of the dedication, hard work and enthusiasm our team brings to the restaurant each and every day, as well as the continued support of our wonderful guests who choose to dine with us.

Director of Food and Beverage, Sharath Kancharla, recognises the talents of the Miss Mi team,

“I am incredibly proud of our team, they are the driving force that makes Miss Mi one of the best Asian restaurants in Western Australia. Our strength comes from our diversity, with chefs from different Asian backgrounds bringing authentic knowledge and family recipes to our menu.

Narendra, from Indonesia, has played a key role in creating dishes such as our Rendang. Julius, from the Philippines, has contributed traditional recipes like Kinilaw. Nima Choden, from Bhutan, trained under Chinese master chefs and brings exceptional expertise in handmade dumplings. Sambu, from West Bengal, trained in Dubai with Malaysian master chefs, influencing many of our curry dishes. Armelyn, from the Philippines, is well known for her seafood pandesal bread and delicious cheesecakes.

Together, our team has more than 120 years of combined experience in Asian kitchens. This knowledge, passion, and authenticity are what make our dishes unique and why we are proud to be experts in Asian cuisine in WA.”

Without our kitchen and front of house teams, we wouldn’t be able to create beautiful experiences for our valued guests.
